Victor Hoefnagels

Nederlands

Victor (1953) groeide op in de Haagse Schilderswijk en begon op elfjarige leeftijd met schilderen. Na zijn studie aan de Koninklijke Academie van Beeldende Kunsten (1973-1978) werkte hij als ontwerper, illustrator en kunstschilder. Zijn werk is opgenomen in collecties in Nederland, Duitsland, België, Frankrijk, Schotland, Engeland, Denemarken, Noorwegen, Spanje, Italië, de Verenigde Staten, Brazilië, Japan, Zuid-Afrika, Australië, Libanon en Indonesië.

Thema’s bepalen de stijl en technische uitvoering van Victor's kunst. Abstracte vormen, fotorealisme en alle stijlen daartussen behoren tot het pallet van mogelijkheden.

Victor (1953) grew up in the back streets of the city of The Hague (the Netherlands) and started painting when he was eleven years old. After his study at The Royal Academy of Fine Arts (1973-1978) he worked as a designer, illustrator and painter. Today his art is part of collections in The Netherlands, Germany, Belgium, France, Scotland, England, Denmark, Norway, Spain, Italy, The United States, Brazil, Japan, South Africa, Australia, Libanon and Indonesia.

Themes determine the style and technical execution of Victor's art. Abstract forms, photorealism and all the styles in between belong to his pallet of possibilities.

Na een ongeluk op zee is Victor zeegezichten gaan schilderen. Hij schildert uit het geheugen om er zo meer kracht in te leggen.
